Theo Hernandez says yes to AC Milan

Theo Hernandez has accepted an offer from AC Milan. The Rossoneri are very close to reaching a deal with Real Madrid.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Despite strong interested from Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen, two teams that will play in Champions League next season, Theo Hernandez is headed to AC Milan. According to SportMediaset, the 21-year-old full-back will be a new player of the Rossoneri.

With Elliot’s blessing, AC Milan have decided to invest 20 million euros on the younger brother of World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez. Theo has become surplus to requirement at Bernabeu after Real Madrid purchased Mendy taking their number of left-back to four.

The offer of 20 million euros is very pleasing for Real Madrid who are also willing to give Theo Hernandez on loan. However, there is one final problem to solve. Real Madrid would like to insert a buy-clause in Hernandez’s contract. Similar to what they did with Morata who he joined Juventus.

AC Milan have rejected this possibility. The parties are continuing to negotiate with this aspect being the last obstacle before announcing the transfer of Theo Hernandez to AC Milan. The French defender is handpicked by Paolo Maldini, who himself started his career as left defender.

According to Marca, the young left-back was impressed by Maldini during their meeting in Ibiza. The Rossoneri legend explained to him the new project of the club offering Theo a starring role. With Ricardo Rodriguez’s future in doubt the Real Madrid starlet could be the new owner of the left flank at San Siro next season.
