Two new players to make seasonal debut in Torino vs Milan

Considerable changes are expected for Torino vs AC Milan with Giampaolo thinking of revolutionizing the midfield with two new players.

The great defect of AC Milan, in the last match lost against Inter, was granting too much in the midfield duels to the rivals cousins. Precisely for this reason, Marco Giampaolo would be considering radical changes for the upcoming Torino vs Milan. The Rossoneri coach is thinking of two player that could make their seasonal debut on Thursday.

According to Sportmediaset, it could finally be the hour of Giacomo Bonaventura. The 30-year-old midfielder, fully recovered after a new injury that kept him out for nearly a year (since AC Milan vs Betis of last October 25th), could start form the first minute as inside left.

With Lucas Paqueta set to miss the match against Torino because of a knee injury, Giampaolo will have to choose between the Italian and Calhanoglu. Hakan hasn’t been very reliable recently so Bonaventura’s chances are quite high.

Instead, Sky Sport reports on the certain debut against Torino of Rade Krunic. The Bosnia midfielder joined AC Milan from Empoli for a fee of €8 million but has yet to play a single minute in Serie A this season. In that case Krunic would take Kessie’s spot. Perhaps some rest could be useful for the Ivorian midfielder.

Giampaolo could line up a brand new midfield for the match against Torino. Krunic as inside-left and Bonaventura as inside-right with Ismael Bennacer at the center. After the derby defeat, there is not doubt that Biglia will sit on the bench with Bennacer set to make his second first minute appearance in Serie A. Regarding the formation, a transition to 4-3-3 is the most likely option at this point.
