AC Milan agree terms with defender but deal falls through

AC Milan have agreed terms with Mohamed Simakan. Now the Rossoneri are trying to close a deal with Strasbourg.

UPDATE: Strasbourg rejected AC Milan’s last offer of 15 million euros plus 20% a future resale. The Rossoneri had sent a private plain for Simakan in France but the deal ultimately fell through.

Despite many defenders being linked with AC Milan, the club is  trying to bring in an old name before the end of the summer transfer window. Mohamed Simakan is very close to joining AC Milan from Strasbourg.

The French and Italian press confirm AC Milan have agreed personal terms with Simakan. The 20-year -old centre back has accepted a five-year contract from the Rossoneri.

Now the management is trying to reach a deal with Strasbourg. The Rossoneri have offered 10 million euros for the talented French centre back and are awaiting a response from Strasbourg.

The 20-year-old defender became a regular starter for Strasbourg last season and has attracted the attention of many European clubs like Tottenham, Red Bull Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Everton with his performances.

The other names that Milan have inquired about in the last days are that of Ozan Kabak and Antonio Rudiger but for both players there are different obstacles.
