AC Milan working to snatch highly rated midfielder from Man City

AC Milan are working to snatch highly rated Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani from Manchester City.

Interesting changes are expected in AC Milan’s midfield for next season. Franck Kessie will leave while Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli will return under Stefano Pioli’s orders. A new midfielder will arrive to replace Kessie but the management is looking to add another defensive midfielder to their ranks.

Sandro Tonali has been forced to play a big number of games this year because Tiemoue Bakayoko underwhelmed a lot when given the chance. The Frenchman could return at Chelsea at the end of the season with AC Milan working to sign Kristjan Asllani from Empoli.

Asllani has been one of Serie A’s biggest surprises this season. The 20-year-old Albanian midfielder has become a key player for Empoli despite his young age. Kristjan has also made two appearances with the Albanian national team. The young defensive midfielder is attracting a lot of attention with his performances.

Important European clubs like Inter, Juventus and Manchester City are monitoring Kristjan Asllani. AC Milan are aware of the high interest in Asllani and are working in advance to avoid the competition of Manchester City especially reports journalist Alfredo Pedulla. The Citizens had recently sent their scouts in Italy to observe the Albanian talent.

Paolo Maldini had a meeting with Empoli’s management to understand the demands for highly rated midfielder. Empoli are open to sell their gem and are asking a fee of at least €10 million for Asllani. AC Milan are reportedly willing to let the 20-year-old play for another season at Empoli to mature according to Pedulla.
