AC Milan interested in Brazilian striker

AC Milan are interested in emerging Brazilian striker Brenner whom Sao Paulo may be forced to sell in the summer.

AC Milan are paying close attention to South America to strengthen their squad in the future. There are several interesting talents that the Rossoneri scouts have observed with Brenner being the latest emerging star.

Brenner Souza da Silva plays for Sao Paulo in Brazil. In the last season, the 20-year-old centre forward scored 22 goals and assisted 4 in 37 appearances across all competitions. Excellent numbers for a young player of great perspective.

According to reports by UOL Esporte, AC Milan have shown concrete interest in Brenner. Other big European clubs like Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring his situation.

At the moment, Ajax seems like the club in an advantaged position to sign the Brazilian talent. The Netherlands champions have done business in the past with Sao Paulo purchasing top talents like David Neres and Antony at low prices.

Brenner has a high release clause of 50 million euros but his contract expires in 2022 and there hasn’t been made any progress in renewal talks. Sao Paulo are aware that if they don’t sell their gem in the summer they risk losing him for free in one year. A difficult contract situation that offers AC Milan the possibility to sign one the best Brazilian talents for a figure of around 20 million euros at most.
