Leonardo met Paqueta agent to talk new signings
AC Milan sporting director Leonardo met agent Eduardo Uram to discuss the progress of Lucas Paqueta and other possible transfers in the future.
We are in the middle of the international break. Many Rossoneri players are busy with their national teams and return to Milanello just in time for Saturday’s league match Sampdoria-Milan. However the club management is very active in these days.
Sporting director Leonardo recently welcomed Eduardo Uram at Casa Milan. Uram is the agent of Lucas Paqueta, the Rossoneri’s January signing. The two discussed the first months of the Brazilian midfielder in Italy and how Paqueta has adapted to Serie A football.
Transfer market was another topic of interest between Leonardo and Eduardo Uram. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan are very pleased with the way negotiations for Paqueta proceeded and are open to doing business again with Uram.
Leonardo is very attentive to hot prospects in Brazil and is following several players with great interest. In the summer transfer window we will likely see the number of Brazilian players at Milan increase.
Lately AC Milan have inquired about Flamengo duo Reinier and Jean Lucas. Reinier is a 17 year old attacking midfielder that has recently joined Flamengo’s first team while Jean Lucas is a 20 year old central midfielder currently on loan at Santos. Agent Uram is an influential figure at Flamengo and could be used as an intermediary if Milan decide to make an offer.
