Striker Oliver Ross confirms AC Milan talks

AC Milan have turned their attention to the Danish striker Oliver Ross after missing out on Tommaso Mancini.

AC Milan plan to add a new centre forward before the end of the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri had reached an agreement with Vicenza for Tommaso Mancini. AC Milan were about to spend €3 million for the young Italian striker but the transfer is off following a disagreement with his family (also his agents) over commissions.

Maldini and Massara have now turned their attention to Oliver Ross. The 17-year-old Dashi centre forward is the new priority target of the Rossoneri for the attack. Despite his young age Oliver Ross has already 16 appearances with the first squad of Aalborg BK. AC Milan scouts are impressed with what they have seen and have suggested his purchase to the management.

In a recent interview with Nordjske, Oliver Ross admitted that a summer transfer to AC Milan is a concrete possibility. “It is nice that I am being linked to a club the size of AC Milan. It’s a world famous club so I naturally take it as a pat on the back. It is not the first time that there is a foreign interest in me, but this was probably a little more important than what I have heard about previously”.

Despite a possible transfer to AC Milan, Oliver Ross is grounded and only thinks of doing well with Aalborg. Right now I am thinking only of Aalborg. We are have a difficult situation that we need to reverse. So there is nothing I want more right now than to start winning some football matches. I plan to develop a lot more at Aalborg but it is clear that I will have to face a change if at some point I get a completely unique offer.

Aalborg are reportedly asking a fee of €2 million for Oliver Ross. The Denmark U-18 international could join the AC Milan Primavera squad coach by Ignazio Abate with a clear plan for a quick progress to the first team in the future.
