AC Milan beat Juventus and Liverpool for Italian striker

AC Milan have completed the signing of Tommaso Mancini beating the strong competition of Juventus and Liverpool.

Today was the Charles De Ketelaere day at Casa Milan. The Belgian attacking midfielder put pen to paper on a five-year contract that makes him one of the most expensive purchases in the history of the club. At the same time, the Rossoneri have closed the signing of a new centre forward.

AC Milan have secured the services of Tommaso Mancini. The Serie A champions have beat Juventus and Liverpool for the signature of the highly rated Italian striker. AC Milan will spend a figure of around 3 million euros, add-ons included, for the 18-year-old Tommaso Mancini who is often considered the Italian Ibrahimovic.

Mancini joins AC Milan from Serie B side Vicenza. The talented striker who turned 18 just a few days made 13 appearances with Vicenza last season for a total of 430 minutes played. At the same time he starred for the Primavera squad scoring 10 goals in 13 appearances. Numbers and appearances that have not gone unnoticed by Paolo Maldini and company.

AC Milan are always paying close attention to talented players with great potential. Stefano Pioli’s squad are increasingly becoming an attractive hub for young players who hope to follow in the footsteps of Sandro Tonali, Rafael Leao and Pierre Kalulu.

The Italy Under-19 striker is compared to Ibrahimovic for their similar style of football and passion for martial arts. Mancini is a physically strong striker (190 centimeters tall) with a keen eye for goal. Tommaso was very close to joining Liverpool but his family refused the transfer because they wanted his growth process to continue in Italy. It is highly likely that Mancini will not join the Rossoneri Primavera squad with AC Milan intentioned to loan him in a Serie B club.
