AC Milan weight up bid for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo

AC Milan are among the interested clubs in Rodrygo who could leave Real Madrid after the arrival of Mbappe.

The two biggest summer transfers are happening before the window opens. Erling Haaland has already been announced as a new Manchester City player while Real Madrid are closing the signing of French superstar Kylian Mbappe. The arrival of Mbappe in Spain could impact the future of several Los Blancos players.

Rodrygo first of all could pay a heavy price following the singing of Mbappe. El Nacional reports that Real Madrid are open to sell Rodrygo this summer. The 21-year-old right winger will see his space in Ancelotti’s eleven reduced significantly with Mbappe, Benzema and Vinicius Jr set to form the front three next season.

A fierce battle for Rodrygo’s services is set to take place when the transfer window opens and AC Milan are among the interested clubs. Bayern Munich, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and AC Milan are following closely the situation of Rodrygo according to El Nacional.

The Rossoneri are expected to make a significant investment to strengthen their right wing next season and Rodrygo is an unexpected opportunity. So far the Rossoneri had been following Domenico Berardi, Marco Asensio and Noa Lang.

The Brazilian starlet is having his best year with the Spanish giants. Rodrygo has been particular decisive in the Champions League helping Real Madrid reach the final. In 47 appearances across all competitions, the former Stants has scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists.

In 2019, Real Madrid spent a fee of 45 million euros to purchase the promising Brazilian winger. Any interested club will have to pay a similar figure to acquire his services with Rodrygo Silva de Goes under contract at Santiago Bernabeu until 2025.
