Two Liverpool players offered to Milan

AC Milan will sign a new centre forward in the January shopping campaign. The most likely name to join the Rossoneri is that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. However, at this moment the negotiation is at real risk of failing.

Another profile that fascinates is that of Alexandre Pato, who would gladly return to Milanello after his positive experience in China with Tianjin Quanjian. But Leonardo and Paolo Maldini are also exploring other options.

Liverpool duo Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi have been offered to AC Milan. According to reports by Il Corriere dello Sport and by Tuttosport, the two Liverpool strikers are not part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the future and would gladly leave Anfield Road for the Rossoneri.

Origi is 23 and seems like a good alternative but he has failed to make his breakthrough. With the Reds space has been scarce this season with only 3 appearances between Premier League and Champions, for a total of 173 minutes. He scored the decisive goal in the derby victory against Everton although Pickford’s sensational error was decisive. The Belgian international could leave on loan with the right to buy, a convenient formula for Milan.

Sturridge on the other hand is 29 and his contract expires in June 2019. In January he could leave Liverpool on very favorable conditions. This season the English striker has put together more appearances than Origi: 15 for a total of 481 minutes played and 4 goals scored. Despite the considerable game time it’s Sturridge himself who has asked to be sold because Klopp sees him only as a substitute. Highly unlikely that both players leave Liverpool but one of the two is guaranteed to depart.
