Tuttosport: Milan interested in Arsenal midfielder

AC Milan were left disappointed by their England trip but their midfield target was one of the best on the pitch yesterday.

The Rossoneri were in London yesterday on a double mission: to achieve Europa League promotion and advance contacts for Jack Wilshere. AC Milan failed to qualify to the next Europa League round but are front-runners in signing the 26 year old central midfielder.

The England international has failed to find an agreement with Arsenal and has an expiring contract at the end of the season. Coach Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he expects Wilshere to leave in summer. Tuttosport reports that AC Milan want to secure the services of Jack Wilshere but face stiff competition from other Italian clubs.

The Rossoneri were in loan negotiations with Wilshere last season but in the end the player rejected the red and blacks and preferred to join Bournemouth instead. Signing one of Arsenal’s best players for free would definitely be good business for the Rossoneri.
