Udinese-Milan, probable lineups

Udinese-Milan is the Rossoneri’s last Serie A stop before the big mach against Juventus. A “mutilated” Milan faces a traditionally difficult opponent like Udine.

AC Milan aim to continue their recent victory streak this Sunday against Udinese. After two fine wins against Sampdoria 3-2 and Genoa 2-1, the Rossoneri have touched Champions League area for the first time this season but today’s away game is one of the most fearful and insidious for the Red and Blacks.

In an important encounter against a traditionally difficult opponent coach Gennaro Gattuso must prepare the match without Caldara, Calabria, Lucas Biglia, Hakan Calhanoglu and Giacomo Bonaventura at his disposal. Due to the many injuries and lack of options Rino will again use the 4-4-2 lineup seen for the first time against Sampdoria.

Gigio Donnarumma between the posts with four defenders in front of him. Ricardo Rodriguez returns to his natural position as left back with veteran Ignazio Abate on the other side. Captain Romagnoli will lead the defense but the presence of Musacchio alongside him is in serious doubt. The Argentine centre back has started in all the Serie A games this season but he may be rested for Udinese. Zapata could complete the back line.

Udinese-Milan is a new chance at the center of the midfield for Tiemoue Bakayoko. Franck Kessie will accompany him with Suso and Diego Laxalt on the flanks. Lethal duo Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone most take care of goals. The two AC Milan strikers are in fine form and can rely on the help of Suso who last year at Dacia Arena scored what was perhaps the best goal of his career.
