Villarreal to sign Bocca only on one condition

According to AS there is still a possibility that Carlos Bacca remains in Spain. Villarreal will make the move permanent only if AC Milan agree to a discount.

As agreed, in order to make the move permanent the Spanish club has to pay another 15.5 million euros after having already paid 2.5 million for his one year loan last summer. However Villarreal would exercise their right only if AC Milan offer a discount. Apparently the red and black club are open to discussions and are considering this proposal.

Bacca this season has scored 12 goals in total (Patrick Cutrone has scored 15 for AC Milan), 9 in La Liga, 2 in Europa League and 1 in Coppa del Re. The Colombian striker scores every 206 minutes. Decent numbers for a centre forward who has not been a regular starter this season. A deal can be closed at about 10-12 million euros. A considerable loss for the Rossoneri who in 2015 paid 30 million euros for his services.
