Hoffenheim midfielder confirms AC Milan interest

AC Milan are in search of new midfielder that can replace Franck Kessie when needed and perhaps the new player may arrive from Germany.

Florian Grillitsch is an Austrian footballer who currently plays for Hoffenheim and the Austria national team as a midfielder. He joined Hoffenheim last season on a free transfer from Werder Bremen. The 22 year old central midfielder is one of the most important players of the German club this season making 23 appearances so far for Nagelsmann’s team. The promising Austrian is of interest to the Rossoneri, his agent has confirmed.

Interviewed by Calciomercato he declared: Being linked with such an important team as AC Milan is a source of great pride, but today it is difficult to imagine what will happen next summer and if Hoffenheim will be willing to sell him. Now he is very happy to play in Germany and is expressing himself at good levels. A future in Serie A? Never say never, in the Italian league he would learn a lot“.
