Milan vs Crotone, probable lineups

AC Milan face Crotone on Sunday. Inter has surpassed the Rossoneri in Serie A standings and Pioli’s side needs to react.

On Sunday, at 15:00 CET, AC Milan host Crotone at the san Siro. Milan vs Crotona may seem as a clash between Davide and Goliath, nevertheless the Rossoneri need to be careful and avoid mistakes.

Stefano Pioli is ready to change something compared to the last match with Bologna and good news arrives from injuries. Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu have both recovered but only one will start tomorrow. Matteo Gabbio too has returned to trainin with the rest of the squad.

After his appearances in the second half with Bologna, Ismael Bennacer was supposed to return from the first minute in Milan vs Crotone for the first time since December. However, bronchitis has changed the initial plans. Once again it will be Meite to partner with Kessie in midfield. Hakan Calhanoglu, who has missed a couple of games due to Covid, will finally start from the first minute.

In defence, with Kjaer out, Tikayo Tomori will partner with Alessio Romagnoli in the middle. Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria complete the back four with Gigio on goal.

Pioli has only big doubt for Milan vs Crotone and it concerns the left wing. Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao are battling for a starring spot. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Portuguese as the most likely name to start. Alexis Saelemaekers will be on the right, and together with Calhanoglu, in support of Ibrahimovic.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, T.Hernandez; Kessie, Meite; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

CROTONE (3-5-2): Cordaz, Magallan, Golemic, Luperto, Rispoli, Benali, Zanellato, Vulic, Reca, Ounas, Simy.
