Milan vs Sampdoria, probable lineups

AC Milan face Sampdoria at San Siro on Saturday. The Rossoneri need a win to keep putting pressure on Inter.

After the international break, league football returns this weekend. Tomorrow at 12:30 CET, AC Milan will host Sampdoria at San Siro. 14 Rossoneri players have returned at Milanello after representing their respective national teams.

In defence, Pioli could make one important change. Davide Calabria is expected to stay out for two weeks and will not be available for Milan vs Sampdoria. According to MilanNews.it, Alexis Saelemaekers will start in the right back position rather than Diogo Dalot or Kalulu. At the center Simon Kjaer will partner again with Fikayo Tomori. Romagnoli needs more time to fully recover. Theo Hernandez completes the back four.

Ismael Bennacer made an immediate impact in the match against Sampdoria. The Algerian is back to his best and will start from the first minute. Franck Kessie will be his partner at the heart of the midfield.

During the week AC Milan won the two-match appeal for Rebic and the Croatian winger is now available for Milan vs Sampdoria. He will start from the first minute against Sampdoria. Hakan Calhanoglu was on fire with Turkey and Pioli hopes he can repeat the same feat with the Rossoneri.

Samuel Castillejo completes the trio in support of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker returned to play with his national team after a long time and provided two assists.
