AC Milan agree Noa Lang signing

AC Milan have reached an agreement to sign Noa Lang from Brugge but the transfer must receive RedBird’s approval.

The last season proved that only Brahim Diaz as attacking midfielder is not enough for a squad that is fighting in three competitions. The Spaniard is expected to remain but a new attacking midfielder is set to arrive this summer. AC Milan have identified Noa Lang as the perfect man for the job.

The 22-year-old Belgian has mostly played on the left wing but the Rossoneri are convinced that Lang possesses the necessary characteristics to become the new trequartista of Stefano Pioli’s squad. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have reached an agreement in principle for Noa Lang.

AC Milan are expect to pay Club Brugge a fee of €22 million for Lang, plus add-on that could bring the total figure close to €30 million. Part of the transfer fee will be covered by the money AC Milan received from the just completed sale of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Noa Lang has been on AC Milan’s radar for a long time. The Rossoneri scouts have monitored his performances, together with his teammates Charles De Ketelaere, for the past year. De Ketelaere is also an important target of Paolo Maldini for the right wing but his price tag is over €30 million.

Lang had another positive season with Club Brugge. The Netherlands international scored 9 goals and assisted 15 in 48 appearances across all competitions. Impressive performances that have helped Brugge win back-to-back league titles in Belgium. Lang’s arrival at San Siro depends on the final approval of RedBird Captain who are set to become the new owners of the club.
