AC Milan consider Roma player for the midfield

AC Milan are concentrated in the signing of a new central midfielder and technical director Leonardo is now considering a new name.

With the arrival of Caldara, AC Milan’s defensive department can be considered complete. Even the attack, thanks to Higuain’s signing, is almost done (only one left winger is missing). Leonardo, therefore, can now concentrate on the midfield. According to Tuttosport, one of the profiles that excites the interest of the Rossoneri technical director is that of Lorenzo Pellegrini of Roma.

It seems that the young midfielder has not appreciated the arrivals of Cristante and Pastore in the capital but would still like to stay in the Giallorossi to take his chances. However, Roma no longer consider the 22 year old as unsellable. The talented central midfielder has a release clause of 35 million euros. There have been no direct contacts between the clubs yet, but Leonardo’s interest is there and quite concrete. Updates are expected during the week.

On Leo’s list for the midfield there are also Kovacic and Rabiot. The Croatian star of Real Madrid dreams of returning to Italy to try to play a leading role, while the young French – who has a contract expiring in a year – is reflecting on his future. PSG demand at least 30 million euros: the mother-agent of Rabiot, who had already insisted a few years ago for the permanence of her son in Paris, will play a decisive role.
