AC Milan in contacts with PSG star

Continues the search of AC Milan for a new central midfielder and now Leonardo is considering one of his former players at PSG.

In addition to the closure of the mega deal that is expected to bring Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuaín at San Siro with Leo Bonucci moving on the opposite trance, Leonardo remains on the move to sign a new central midfielder this summer.

The new name on Leonardo’s list is that of Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with the PSG expires in a year. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan technical director is already in contacts with the French international. The two have already worked together when Leonardo was director of football at the French giants.

The 23 year old central midfielder is one of the best players in France and despite his young age he has played more than 200 games for PSG. While at normal times Rabiot would cost around 50 million euros he can leave this summer for no more than 20 million. AC Milan are very interested but Barcelona are considered as favorites for his services. However the Rossoneri can guarantee Rabiot a starting place something that the Spanish side can’t.
