Leonardo closes third signing, Brazilian winger accepts Milan

AC Milan have practically closed the purchase of Caldara and Higuain but Leonardo is aiming for a third signing this week.

Before meeting the brother-agent of Gonzalo Higuain and define one of the most important transfer hits of this summer window, Leonardo had another important meeting at Casa Milan with the agents of Bernard. The Brazilian left winger could land at Milanello on a free transfer after his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk expired last June.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, the player and his agent Spadoto have expressed the desire to join AC (the agent commissions would be reasonable) with a salary that would be between 3.5 and 4 million euro per season. The will of Bernard is therefore very clear and could be decisive considering that the player is also a target of Chelsea which have mandated Kia Joorabchian to treat with the Brazilian.

Spadoto, agent of the 25 year old winger, will remain in Milano to continue the negotiation with the Rossoineri. In the coming days, other meeting is scheduled with Leonardo, who is currently committed to close the mega deal with Juventus that should bring both Caldara and Higuain at San Siro.

Bernard, who can play both on the left and right and also as attacking midfielder, is practically just waiting to sign a contract but in his mind he has already chosen which shirt he wants to wear between Milan and Chelsea. Leonardo is trying to close the last details with Juventus and then conclude for the Brazilian.
