AC Milan have the chance to sign the most striker in-form striker in Europe for bargain fee

While AC Milan are struggling to score goals, Serhou Guirassy is having the season of his life in Germany with Stuttgart.

AC Milan are demonstrating yet again the symptoms of an old disease. The Rossoneri struggle a lot to score goals, especially in important games. Creativity too could be better. Stefano Pioli’s squad has failed to win important matches against Inter, Juventus and PSG. What’s even more worrisome is the fact that the Rossoneri have not scored a single goal in the last five Champions League games.

That’s a negative record for Italian football but especially for a club like AC Milan that has traditionally excelled in Europe. It’s obvious that the centre forward issue was not solved last summer. Olivier Giroud has scored 4 goals so far but 3 have been from the penalty spot. Noah Okafor is an adapted striker with the wings being his comfort area instead.

The adventure of Luka Jovic is already shaping up to be a total disaster. The Serbian forward has failed to score a single goal so far and was even injured during the warm up before the Paris Saint-Germain match. AC Milan urgently need a new centre forward and the management needs to intervene in January because waiting for summer could prove too costly.

Fortunately, AC Milan have the chance to sign the most in-form striker across Europe for a bargain fee. Serhou Guirassy is having a sensational start to the season in Germany. Guirassy has scored 14 goals in 8 Bundesliga starts transforming Stuttgart from relegation struggling squad to title contenders.

What is even more sensational is the fact that Serhou Guirassy has a release clause of €17.5 million. That is a bargain fee considering what the 27-yeard-old Guinea international has shown during his spell at Stuttgart. The release clause of Guirassy is valid also for the January transfer window. Signing a mature striker, who is having a top level season, for €17.5 million in January is one of those rare opportunities the market offers and AC Milan should try to profit at all cost. A host of English clubs are already monitoring his situation.
