AC Milan eye move for Juventus duo

The possible sale of Lucas Paqueta to PSG could help AC Milan fund a January move for Juventus duo, a reports claims.

Despite an underwhelming start to the season, Lucas Paqueta is hoping to bounce quickly under Stefano Pioli but he remains one of Leonardo’s top transfer target for January. The PSG sporting director brought the Brazilian at AC Milan from Flamengo and according to the latest rumors would be ready to pay 40 million to take him in France.

A scenario that the Rossoneri management is carefully monitoring to avoid being caught unprepared when the winter transfer opens. That’s doesn’t mean that AC Milan will sell Paqueta but it’s always advisable to be prepared for every outcome.

The club has promised signings to strengthen in midfield and one of AC Milan’s targets is Marco Benassi. The Fiorentina 25-year-old central midfielder has recovered from a knee injury but has lost his place to emerging youngster Gaetano Castrovilli. Fiorentina value Benassi at €20 million. Boban and Maldini are also looking at Juventus for possible signings.

Calciomercato.it reports that Boban and Maldini are considering the purchase of Emre Can, who has found limited room under Maurizio Sarri. The German international is very unhappy with his situation and is expected to leave in January. PSG are also interested in Emre Can. The 25-year-old midfielder costs €30 million.

Daniele Rugani is another Juventus name that the Rossoneri are monitoring. A long-time transfer target of AC Milan, Rugani has not made a single appearances despite Sarri being the coach that launched his career.The Italian centre-back is seen as an alternative to Mattia Caldara.
