AC Milan make last-minute contact for Tottenham duo

AC Milan have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur for Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli. Both players are available on loan.

European clubs have only a few hours until the end of the January transfer window. So far AC Milan have signed only Marko Lazetic despite being linked with a number of players, especially in defence. The Rossoneri have contacted Tottenham about to players according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Journalist Carlo Laudisa reports that AC Milan have inquired about Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli. Both Tottenham players are on the market and available on loan after falling out of favor with Antonio Conte.

Ndombele and Alli are set to make room for Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur whom Tottenham have just signed. The Spurs have been in talks for long time with PSG for Ndombele. Tottenham are open to let him leave on loan but the new club must cover his full salary until the end of the season.

The France international has been a disappointment in the Premier League since his €60 million transfer from Lyon. Ndombele would be a perfect replacement for Franck Kessie even though PSG remain the most likely destination for the 25-year-old central midfielder.

Dele Alli has been a shadow of his former self for the last two seasons. The elegant English attacking midfielder has lost his status as a regular starter and needs to find a new clubs if he wants to play more. The problem is Alli’s case is that English are now considered non-EU player in Italy and AC Milan have filled their two slots. Unless someone leaves the Rossoneri can not sign him.
