TMW: AC Milan make progress for Depay

AC Milan have made Memphis Depay their number one target for this summer. The Rossoneri have already opened talks with Lyon for a possible transfer.

The Dutch international tops the list of Massimiliano Mirabelli’s targets for this summer. Even though the Rossoneri are in search of a top centre forward, the clubs considers Depay as the top target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Now that the player has given his approval to a transfer even if AC Milan are banned from playing Europa League next season, Mirabelli has opened negotiations with Lyon. Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that the parties have scheduled a meeting in the coming weeks and the French clubs has opened to a possible sale.

The 24 year old left winger has been in scintillating form since joining Lyon on January 2017. Even this season he was one of the best performers in Ligue 1 scoring 19 goals in 36 appearances, assisting 13 times and qualifying the French to Champions. While Lyon value the player at 50 million euros an agreement can be reached at 40. Hopefully the flamboyant Dutch will grace San Siro with his talent next season. Fassone and Mirabelli are already at work.
