CorSport: Milan preparing sensational player return

Massimiliano Mirabelli continues his search for a new central midfielder and according to reports a former AC Milan player could make his return.

One of the main goals of Mirabelli is to sign to a strong player able to play as both defensive midfielder and central midfielder in the 4-3-3 that at the moment appears as the reference formation of coach Gattuso. Today Il Corriere dello Sport reports a sensational update regarding the matter. It seems as if AC Milan are thinking of bringing back to Milanello an old acquaintance, a player who left the Rossoneri just last year.

We are talking about Juraj Kucka, the muscular Slovak midfielder who precisely at the beginning of July, was sold by Milan to Trabzonspor for a figure of around 6 million euros. The 31 year old remains very attached to the Rossoneri colors, also appearing several time at San Siro to follow a couple of game of his old teammates.

Kucka would gladly return to AC Milan after a good season in Turkey with 25 appearances and 3 goals scored in the league. However, the former Rossonero is not considered as first choice. AC Milan still follow with great interest Fellaini, Badelj and Duncan for the role of vice-Kessie but the 31 year old remains in the mix. Furthermore Kucka has always been a fan favorite.
