AC Milan new coach: 6 names that could succeed Gattuso

Unbelievable but true. Jose Mourinho is one of the names AC Milan are considering for the bench, or better say had been considering. Not only that but the parties even had talks to discuss the possibility of Mourinho becoming the new coach of AC Milan.

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti, a very reliable source close to Milan, reveals that Jose Mourinho has had contacts with AC Milan in London but unfortunately the parties didn’t find an agreement.

Jose Mourinho did not pretend a high salary like he is used to. In fact Jose was willing to come to AC Milan without betraying Inter. Inter have opted for a different choice, Antonio Conte, and the Portuguese coach would be free to join Milan without any regrets.

However, despite not pretending a high salary, Jose Mourinho had one specific request. He wanted Luis Campos to be part of the new AC Milan staff. Mourinho, together with Luis Campos, would also bring famous agent Jorge Mendes at Milan. The Portuguese trio would be an important decision-making of the club. Lille have not allowed AC Milan to sign Campos so he will stay in France.

Jose Mourinho to AC Milan could be considered off for now. The Portuguese coach would have loved to return in Milano and show once again he is still “The special one“.
