Milan raise offer for Conti

Andrea Conti will be the next player to join AC Milan no matter the cost. Mirabelli is determined do everything to bring in San Siro the right back.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – The rossoneri have prioritized Andrea Conti as a must sign at all cost target. The two clubs had an fruitful meeting yesterday, very important for the outcome of the negotiations. With Conti, the defensive back line of Milan can be considered completed.

Andrea Conti is one step closer to join AC Milan. The club presented on offer of 20 millions for the 23 year old right back with Atalanta considering the player to be worth 30 millions. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan sports director, Mirabelli has raised the initial offer to 23 million euros in cash, plus a couple of players in exchange to come close to Atalanta’s evaluation of the player. Atalanta’s president, Andrea Percassi, seemed pleased with the new improved offer and has give full availability to close the negotiations in short term. After the meeting he declared: “If the player doesn’t want to stay we will evaluate the situation and make our own choices. The first names of the players considered to be offered in exchange have emerged. Atalanta wants two players from Milan’s youth sector. The 19 year old defender Gian Filippo Felicioli and the 20 year old midfielder Matteo Pessina. Juraj Kucka can also be part of the exchange. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini appreciates a lot the Slovak defensive midfielder considering him to be the perfect player to replace Franck Kessie who joined the rossoneri.
