AC Milan player wins best goalkeeper of Serie B award
AC Milan keeper Gabriel Vasconcelos Ferreira, on loan at Empoli, has been chosen as the best goalkeeper of Serie B.
Empoli have won Serie B and starting from next season they will compete in the highest level of Italian football. A big part in the success of Empoli has played AC Milan loanee Gabriel Vasconcelos Ferreira. Although Gabriel joined Empoli in January he has been simply superb and his performances have helped the Azzurri in securing promotion.
The Brazilian 25 year old goalkeeper has been named the best goalkeeper of Serie B. The player commented on Instagram: “I am very happy and honored to have been selected as the best goalkeeper in Serie B. I thank all those who helped me win this award and congratulations also to my teammates! Ps: it could have been any of us“.
