AC Milan receive boost in winger pursuit

The agent of AC Milan target Milot Rashica was in Italy two days ago after RB Leipzig refused to meet Bremen’s asking price for the Kosovo star.

With Serie A now officially over it’s time for Italian clubs to take care of transfer business. One of the priorities of the Rossoneri is to sign a new winger. Federico Chiesa is the top choice but his 70 million euros price tag has forced AC Milan too look at other names like Milot Rashica.

According to Bild, the future of Rashica is still to be deciphered. The 24-year-old winger helped Werder Bremen avoid relegation this season but it had a direct impact on his price.

Had Werder Bremen relegated to Bundesliga 2 the Kosovo international would have a release clause of ‘just’ 15 million. Now Werder Bremen are asking 25 million in order to sell their star.

Red Bull Leipzig are the club most interested in Rashica but they have refused to pay the asking price. AC Milan on the other hand remain interested and in recent days Altin Lala, Rashica’s agent, was in Milan. He is listening to all offers for the talented winger.

In 32 appearances this season Milot Rashica scored 11 goals and provided 8 assists. His form has attracted the interest of many European clubs including Liverpool.
