AC Milan shareholder: “We can afford to sign Savic. Here’s why Lazio will accept”

AC Milan are all in for Milinkovic-Savic. The negotiation for the purchase of the Serbian midfielder continues ahead and the parties are close to a deal.

Ever since he was part of PSG Leonardo wanted to sign Lazio’s star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. For weeks the new technical director of AC Milan has been working underground to sign the 23 year old Serbian midfielder.

Today, lawyer Giuseppe La Scala, vice-president of AC Milan minority shareholders, spoke with RMC Sport about the chances that the Rossoneri have to buy Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: “The Rossoneri club can afford to sign Milinkovic-Savic. Lotito is thinking about it, it would be a good deal for him who came out defeated by the de Vrij case”.

According to reports, the Red and Blacks have closed everything with Savic offering him a 5,5 million euros per season contract while negotiations with Lazio continue. The Rossoneri have made several proposals to meet Lazio’s asking price of 120 million euros in a loan deal with the right to buy and in addition have also offered Giacomo Bonaventura in exchange.
