AC Milan sign Jens Petter Hauge: the details

AC Milan have reached an agreement to purchase Jens Petter Hauge from Bodo Glimt. The Norwegian winger will sign a 5-year contract with the Rossoneri.

AC Milan have been following Jens Petter Hauge for quite some months. His performance last Thursday, at the San Siro, during Milan vs Bodo Glimt, convinced the Rossoneri management to secure his services.

MilanNews.it confirms that AC Milan have completed the signing of Jens Petter Hauge from Bodo Glimt. The Norwegian left winger will arrive in Milano to have his medicals and sign a five-year contract of 1 million euros per season.

Talks with his agent lasted a few days but, despite the interest of other European clubs, Hauge immediately accepted Milan’s offer after the Europa League match. AC Milan will spend around 5 million euros to purchase Hauge from Bodo Glimt.

A surprise signing considering the fact that the 20-year-old is a left winger and in that role Ante Rebic is untouchable. However, he can also play as right winger and attacking midfielder thus offering coach Stefano Pioli more options regarding the attack.

The Norwegian prodigy is about to close a fantastic season in his country having scored 14 goals and assisted 9 in 17 appearances with Bodo Glimt. One goal and one assist against the Rossoneri proved he can also perform against the best European clubs. Glimt hoped to keep their gem until the end of the season but that won’t be the case.
