AC Milan star rejects Monaco offer

AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez has reject an offer from Ligue 1 Monaco reports Sky Sports. The Swiss wants to continue with the Rossoneri.

The Swiss full-back, author of an excellent game at the World debut against Brazil is attracting many fans around Europe. In recent weeks there has been talks of a possible return to the Bundesliga, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich (read here) very interested in his services.

Surprisingly Monaco has also came forward more persistent than the two German giants. According to Sky Sport , in fact, the Rossoneri have received an offer from the Monegasque club for the former Wolfsburg defender.

The 25 year old full-back who joined AC Milan last summer has rejected a move to France with a firm no. The player was clear a few days ago: his attention at the moment is all about Switzerland, and then he will make certain evaluations at the end of the tournament. A few days ago Rodriguez declared that he is happy at Milan but nobody could say if he would remain at 100%.

The Swiss and his Milan team-mates strongly believe in the Rossoneri project despite the many corporate events and doubts. However it is still very early to come to conclusions because Champions League football could prove to be quite of a temptation for Ricardo Rodriguez and his colleagues.
