Inter star offered to AC Milan on free transfer

In a recent meeting with Paolo Maldini, Inter star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has been offered to AC Milan on a free transfer.

AC Milan defeated 2-0 Venezia in a match totally dominated by the Rossoneri. Surprisingly, there was a special guest witnessing the spectacle at the San Siro. Inter winger Ivan Perisic was spotted in the stands. Immediately rumors emerged about a possible move to AC Milan.

However, the truth is a bit different. AC Milan are not interested in Perisic but his teammate, Marcelo Brozovic, could join the Rossoneri next summer. Journalist Andrea Longoni reveals that Inter star Marcelo Brozovic has been offered to AC Milan on a free transfer.

The contract of the Croatian central midfielder expires at the end of the season. His agents have met with Paolo Maldini recently and have proposed the services of 28-year-old Scudetto winner.

Brozovic currently earns 3.5 million euros per season but is asking for a new contract that would make him double his earnings. Inter are unable to offer their star midfielder an annual salary of 7 million so the player is looking around for new options.

The Croatian has been part of Inter for the last eight seasons and played a key part in Antonio Conte’s title winning squad. Meanwhile, AC Milan are working to be prepared in case Franck Kessie decides to leave at the end of the season. Maldini and Massara are considering a number of players to strengthen the midfield next season. However, Brozovic’s contract demands are out of reach even for the Rossoneri.
