AC Milan vs Napoli, probable lineups

AC Milan host Napoli tonight at San Siro. The Rossoneri face their former coach with both clubs in need of a win.

AC Milan vs Napoli is a match between two teams in deep crisis. Napoli, just like the Rossoneri, have won just one of their last five Serie A games. Troubling statistics that see them 13 points behind Juventus and AC Milan in mind-table with just 14 points.

Both coaches need a win in what is expected to be a fiercely contested match at San Siro. Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu are suspended for Milan vs Napoli forcing Stefano Pioli to make some changes to his starting eleven.

In defence, Pioli reconfirms Andrea Conti after the fine performance of the Italian right back against Juventus. Theo Hernandez will start on the left with Mateo Musacchio taking the place of Duarte in the middle alongside captain Romagnoli. As always, Gigio Donnarumma between the posts.

Lucas Biglia returns to the starting eleven thanks to Bennacer’s suspension. The Argentine will partner with Lucas Paqueta (who scored a goal with Brazil) and Rade Krunic. Yet again, Krunic is being preferred over Kessie.

There was one big doubt regarding the role of left winger. Bonaventura and Rebic were fighting for the spot that is expected to go to the Italian midfielder. Jesus Suso will play on the right with Piatek leading the attack.

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma, Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez, Biglia, Paqueta, Krunic, Bonaventura, Suso, Piatek.

NAPOLI (4-4-2): Meret, Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Luperto, Elmas, Allan, Zielinksi, Ruiz, Insigne, Lozano.
