AC Milan keen on WBA striker

West Bromwich Albion’s 19 year old Tyler Roberts has finished in the orbit of AC Milan. The promising striker has a contract until summer 2018 and may join the Rossoneri for free.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals today that AC Milan are following closely the 19 year old talent. On his trails there are also Sampdoria and Torino. While from England reports have  that Leeds United (Championship), Rangers Glasgow and Marseille are also interested in Roberts.

The player in August was loaned to Walsall (League One), where he scored 5 goals in 16 league games. He then returned to the WBA in the Under 23 line-up. The 19 year old Welsh striker’s contract expires in June 2018 and his club would like him to renew. Only that, a few days after the closure of the transfer market in January, there is the risk of not collecting anything from his departure if an immediate transfer does not take place. In fact, if Roberts does not renew soon, in July, he will be free to move on a free transfer.

AC Milan continue to monitor the situation with high interest. Meanwhile, Leeds United even offered 4 million pounds, but WBA refused because there are still hopes that the youngsters signs the renewal. The club and coach Alain Pardew have assured him that he will have more room within the first team in the future, but Tyler is not entirely convinced. Mirabelli assesses the situation.
