Belgium winger confirms talks with AC Milan

AC Milan have turned their attention on Real Sociedad winger Adnan Januzaj with his agent confirming talks with the Rossoneri.

AC Milan continue their hunt for a new winger. With negotiations for Dani Olmo likely pushed for the summer and Cengiz Under destined to remain at Roma after their failure to sign Politano and the injury of Zaniolo, the Rossoneri have turned their attention on Adnan Januzaj.

The 24-year-old winger of Real Sociedad has been on AC Milan’s radar for a while. However, even Roma have targeted the Belgium international as an alternative to Politano. Januzaj has scored 4 goals and assisted another 4 in 13 appearances with Real Sociedad this season.

According to Tuttosport, the possible purchase of Januzaj depends on the sale of Jesus Suso. The Rossoneri have yet to receive pleasing offers for the Spaniard but he remains likely to leave with Sevilla and Roma interested in his services. Alternatively, the Rossoneri could ask the Belgian player on loan with the right or obligation to buy but it will be necessary to see if Real Sociedad will accept this formula.

Dirk de Vriese, Januzaj’s agent, in an interview with calcioomercato confirmed the player’s desire to leave Real Sociedad and that Serie A is a destination he would gladly accept. Speaking of Milan, he confirmed the contacts with the club: “Yes, I can confirm it. If Adnan would accept? Absolutely yes“. The agent was also asked if the player’s arrival at Milan depends on the sale of Jesus Suso: “Yes, it’s a possibility“.

The former Manchester United talent can play as winger on both sides on the pitch in Stefano Pioli’s 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2 formations. Once again the transfer campaign of Milan is blocked the lack of an important sale.
