Sky: AC Milan plot surprise move to sign English ace

AC Milan are lining up a shock move for Nottingham Forest right back Matty Cash, one of the best youngsters in Championship.

Sky Sports UK confirms AC Milan’s interest in Nottingham Forest right back Matty Cash. According to Sky, AC Milan have contacted Nottingham Forest to express their interest in the 22-year-old full back that can also play as right midfielder.

Matty Cash is one of the rising stars of the Championship. The talented defender, author of some impressive performances, has made 26 appearances with Nottingham Forest in the second tier of the English football scoring two goals and providing four assists.

The Italian giants have turned their attention to trying to sign the 22-year-old after losing regular right-back Davide Calabria through injury reports Sky. The physical condition of Andrea Conti has been volatile throughout the season too.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly asked a figure of around €15 million to allow Cash to join the Rossoneri. In England the 22-year-old right back has emerged as one of the best players in his position outside of the Premier League.

Cash has a contract until 2023 with Nottingham Forest who are battling for Premier League promotion this season.
