Amid transfer talks Bonucci reveals his future

On the eve of Italy’s friendly with Saudi Arabia, AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci commented on the new look of the Italian national and his future at Milan.

After UEFA’s decision to reject the Rossoneri’s Settlement Agreement proposal many fear an exodus will follow at Casa Milan. Several Red and Black players like Gigio Donnarumma, Alessio Romagnoli, Giacomo Bonaventura, Suso and precisely captain Bonucci are wanted by top European clubs.

Interviewed by the media today, Bonucci revealed: “To be the captain of the national team is heavy, but it’s a weight that I carry with joy and honor, it’s the dream of many children. I will try to be an example for the Italians and the young people at the beginning of this new adventure, as I have done and will continue to do at AC Milan“.

The captain confirms his stay at San Siro even for next season and continued: “It’s strange when Gigi Buffon and Daniele De Rossi aren’t around anymore, I used to joke with them a lot. Mario Balotelli? He’s a different man compared to the past, he is more matured now“.
