Berlusconi explains what Milan are lacking
All the fans are disappointed by this Milan. Much more was expected from the team built in the summer by Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli.
Even a special fan is not happy with the moment of the Rossoneri. We are talking about Silvio Berlusconi, former president but still a huge fan, unhappy specifically with the gaming system used by the Rossoneri in the last year and a half. For Premium Sport he explained: “Sometimes I can not see the whole match because I do not agree with certain players or on the formation used. I believe that the system that has allowed us to win so many trophies in thirty years should not be abandoned but confirmed, that is, two forwards, one of which Suso as second striker, and a centre forward. And also Bonaventura in a position smilar to Kaka because he is top class and so would have the opportunity to get inside the area and shot on goal. He is not much inferior in comparison with Kaka “.
Berlusconi has defined Giacomo Bonaventura and Suso as the two top players of the team, along with Gianluigi Donnarumma. But he is not happy with their position as wingers: “Today Bonaventura and Suso are exiled on the sides. They dribble one opponent, dribble another and then they are far from the goal and the penalty area and can only cross. I had all the games of last season examined: there is not a single cross that has been used positively by the lone striker (Bacca or Lapadula), dominated by the two opponent defenders. Often we have also seen an entire half without even a single shot on goal.”
According to the former president of AC Milan the offensive wingers must be the fullbacks: “Sacchi at Parma instructed the full-backs to push forward like Garrincha and pass the striker low, to give the ball diagonally to the midfielders or to make a cross when in area there are at least three men. Going forward as in the past season with Gattuso, to whom I send all my best wishes, we still see Milan with a single striker. We are no going nowhere like this”.
