CorSera: Milan ready to sell three players

In just a few days the winter transfer window will open and while it’s still unclear who will arrive, the players to leave Milan are at least three.

January is almost upon us but for AC Milan it will not be too profitable. The enormous expense made in the summer and UEFA’s upcoming restrictions will prohibit the management from carrying on exaggerated operations.

AC Milan’s next transfer window prospects seem rather passive than the initial ambitions, although the club will probably observe the possible opportunities that will present during the winter month. On the other hand, certain departures from a squad that is currently full of redundancies and players who have not managed to become first minute starters nor with Vincenzo Montella nor recently under the patronage of Gennaro Gattuso, appear to be more than sure.

According to Il Corriere della Sera, there are three certain departures scheduled for next January: Gabriel Paletta, who has been out of the group for a long time (only one presence for him this year) is the first to find a new destination, breaking the contract that bonds him with the rossoneri until June 2018. Even the other centre back, Gustavo Gomez, is sure to leave, with Lazio and other foreign clubs from Turkey or Argentina who are following him closely. Finally Jose Mauri: the young Italian-Argentine midfielder has never convinced the Rossoneri environment and a new start on loan is expected for him in January. Last year Mauri moved temporarily to Empoli and then returned without a guaranteed future at Milan. The former Parma talent was considered one of the most promising starlets in Italy, unfortunately his transfer to San Siro has proven a disappointment so far.
