Boban-Giampaolo, AC Milan trouble get worse

Trouble get worse at AC Milan with director Zvonimir Boban and coach Marco Giampaolo reportedly having a really difficult relationship.

Zvonimir Boban and Marco Giampaolo: their relationship is at minimum terms reveals Il Corriere dello Sport. According to the Italian newspaper the disappointing results have extended the chaos also in other contexts.

Thus, to the precarious position of the Rossoneri coach, and the underwhelming start to the season, there should be added behind the scenes problems. Including a non-existent relationship between the Milan chief football officer and the Italian coach.

In addition to a difference of views accentuated over time, the social initiatives of Boban’s son have deteriorated the rapport between Boban and Maldini, writes CorSport. The reference is to what posted on Instagram by Rafael Boban on October 1st: “We have high quality players, I think the problem is the coach. We’ll see what happens. We started the season really bad but I think we’ll bounce back“.

An episode, underlines the newspaper, that certainly does not express the maximum of compactness in a difficult moment. Coach Marco Giampaolo desperately needs a victory against Genoa to save his job with the club already having initiated the casting for the new coach.

Zvonimir Boban joined AC Milan at a time when Paolo Maldini had chosen Giampaolo as the Rossoneri’s next coach. It is no secret that he did not approve this choice but if result don’t improve soon, Giampaolo’s position will not be the only one at risk.
