Braida: AC Milan lack one important thing to win the Scudetto

Long time AC Milan sporting director Adriedo Braida reveals what the Rossoneri are lacking to win the Scudetto.

Former AC Milan legendary director, Ariedo Braida, was a guest at Sportitalia studios. Braida who played a key role for nearly three decades at the Rossoneri, offered his opinion on Serie A and AC Milan.

The favorite club to win the Scudetto? Inter are an excellent team and are showing it. Milan are proving they deserve to be at the top but something is missing. I don’t want to be a professor, however, the Rossoneri lack those talents like Seedorf, Kaka, Maldini or Baresi. Players who gave a force that lit up the stadium. AC Milan are missing leaders“.

According to Ariedo Braida, AC Milan are lacking leadership. A key feature for every club that aims to win the Scudetto and the Rossoneri are apparently behind in this aspect compared to Inter.

Braida was also asked to give his take on what happened with Gigio Donnarumma: “For me Donnarumma is the strongest goalkeeper in the world. I would have made a sacrifice not to lose him. He embodied Milan, he grew up there. Donnarumma arrived a bit before I left the Rossoneri. I would not have lost such a good and young goalkeeper“.

This isn’t the only time Ariedo Braida talks about specific AC Milan players. The last time he advised Kessie to stay at AC Milan. In the past, to a top player I will not name, I said these words: ‘Remember that you are a champion here and loved by your people. Elsewhere, you will start from scratch.’ It would be the same for Kessie, I hope he stays. If I were him I would stay at Milan“.
