Calhanoglu’s special derby in Roma-Milan

Calhanoglu’s special derby in Roma-Milan

A special Turkish derby in AS Roma-AC Milan. The Rossoneri’s new signing will face tonight at Stadio Olimpico his compatriot Cenzig Under, also a new face this season in Serie A. Both players play together in the national team and both are expected to start from the first minute today in a very important game for the Champions League ambitions of both teams.

A win to break a negative record

Recent precedents not really favorable to the Rossoneri, in the last five seasons, there have been three Roma wins and two draws. The last challenge between the two teams at the Olimpico dates back to 12 December 2016: a 1-0 success for the home side with a goal by Nainggolan and a penalty missed by Niang. The last victory of AC Milan dates back 7 years ago. On 29 October 2011, the year of the last Scudetto, the Rossoneri won 3-2 in a spectacular challenge with Allegri on the bench.
