CM: AC Milan have guaranteed €21m treasure from 3 players

AC Milan could have an additional €21 million to spend this summer that will be generated from three players.

Elliott Management fund has prioritized economic and financial sustainability since taking over at AC Milan. The goal is to make the team more competitive but with particular attention to the financial books. A balance that Massara and Maldini also helped to create with some intelligent choices, especially on the sales front.

The Rossoneri, in fact, could have guaranteed a treasure of around 21 million euros to invest in the upcoming summer transfer window reports Calciomercato. Leo Duarte is the first name to bring around 5.5 million euros. The Brazilian moved to Istanbul Basaksehir on a two-year loan that will become permanent at the end of the season.

The departure of Leao Duarte will be on a loss for AC Milan who spent twice the amount to acquire his services from Flamengo in 2019. Different situation for Jens Petter Hauge. The Norwegian right winger will bring AC Milan a healthy profit. Signed from €4.5 million from Bodo Glimt, Hauge will join Eintracht Frankfurt for €12 million.

Attention also to the situation of Matteo Pessina. The Italian national team midfielder is close to reaching 100 appearances with Atalanta which would trigger a 3 million bonus in favor of the Rossoneri club. A nice bonus but thus Milan will lose their right to 50% of profits from Pessina’s future sale.

AC Milan also hope to complete the sale of Mattia Caldara. Venezia have the obligation to buy him if they secure permanence in Serie A this season but so far they have been closer to the relegation zone. Nevertheless, Caldara’s performances have attracted the attention of other clubs who are ready to meet AC Milan’s 4 million euros asking price.
