CSKA Moscow lower asking price for Vlasic

CSKA Moscow have lowered their asking price for Nikola Vlasic increasing AC Milan’s chances for a positive outcome.

AC Milan, after the return of Brahim Diaz on loan, plan to give Stefano Pioli the starting attacking midfielder who must replace the departed Hakan Calhanoglu. The targets are several but the name in pole position, appreciated by the Rossoneri management for characteristics and age, is that of Nikola Vlasic.

The 23-year-old has done a great job in Russia with CSKA Moscow and with the Croatian national team. Vlasic is a player that gives a great contribution in attack and has a keen eye for goal.

AC Milan are already in contacts CSKA Moscow but their opening asking price of 35 million euros was deemed excessive. The Rossoneri proposed to sign the player initially on loan with an option to buy. Talks are frozen at the moment but according to the latest reports from Russia things could change quickly.

CSKA Moscow appear to have lowered their demands. TuttoMercatoWeb reports that CSKA Moscow are now open to let Nikola Vlasic move on loan. However, the Russian club would like the loan to be with obligation rather tha option to buy. In addition, CSKA have even lowered their economic claims from 35 million euros to just under 30 million according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

Interesting conditions that can lead Maldini and Massara to re-evaluate their stance. Finally, TuttoMercatoWeb adds that CSKA Moscow would also accept a loan with an initial option to buy which should become an obligation under simple conditions like Champions League qualification for next season.
