Brazilian striker agrees AC Milan move

Brazilian starlet Kaio Jorge has accepted a move to AC Milan. The Rossoneri want Jorge to be the team’s third striker.

Without a doubt, AC Milan are the most active active Italian club on the market. The recent signing of Olivier Giroud will not be the Rossoneri’s last in attack as AC Milan are looking for a young striker to partner with two experienced veterans like the Frenchman and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The number one target of AC Milan is Kaio Jorge. The contract of the Brazilian striker with Santos expires on December 31st so he’s considered a great opportunity from the management. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are in pole position to sign the Brazilian starlet.

Kaio Jorge has agreed personal terms with AC Milan over a long-term contract. Paolo Maldini is now working to close a deal with Santos. The Brazilian club are asking 10 million for Jorge but due to the player’s contract situation Santos don’t have much bargaining power.

AC Milan would like bring in Kaio Jorge immediately under Pioli’s orders but, if an agreement isn’t found with Santos, his arrival would be postponed for six months on a free transfer. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are optimistic that negotiations could be closed for a fee close to €5 million.

In the meantime, AC Milan have resumed talks to extend Franck Kessie’s contract. Maldini will meet with Kessie’s agent George Atangana this week. The Ivorian midfielder is asking for a new contract at 6 million per season while Milan are offering 5.5 million per year, add-ons included.
