AC Milan offer new contract to Inter defender

The interest of AC Milan in Inter right back Danilo D’Ambrosio is serious and the Rossoneri have offered him a two-year contract.

A few days ago the media reported on Paolo Maldini’s meeting with agent Vincenzo Pisacane. The two discussed about the future of Italian duo Lorenzo Insigne and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

While the Napoli start would be a top signing he has a high cost of at least 50 million euros. The situation is different for the Inter defender. D’Ambrosio becomes a free agent at the end of the season and can join any club he wants.

According to Sportitalia (via MilanNews.it), AC Milan have offered a two-year contract to Danilo D’Ambrosio. The Italian right back has a renewal proposal from Inter but for only one season.

The Rossoneri are looking to sign a new right back this summer at minimal cost. Diogo Dalot will return to Manchester United because AC Milan don’t want to meet their €20 million price tag while the future of Pierre Kalulu hasn’t been decided yet. The young French defender could leave on loan to play regular football elsewhere.

Danilo D’Ambrosio has been part of Inter for the last eight seasons making over 220 appearances. A veteran defender that can cover in Calabria’s absence.
