Dida: “My advice for Donnarumma”

AC Milan former goalkeeper Nelson Dida was present today at San Siro for the last game of the Rossoneri this season and offered some advice to Donnarumma after the match.

The legendary AC Milan goalkeeper and two time Champions League winner Nelson Dida was present at San Siro today to attend Milan vs Fiorentina. The Rossoneri won 5-1 and ended Serie A in 6th place. Dida was clearly pleased with the result and he also decided to offer some advice to current Rossoneri keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who may leave the club this summer.

Interviewed by Milan TV Dida said: “Donnarumma’s mistakes? Well I made some mistakes too during my career. The important thing is that you learn from your mistakes. I always learned from my mistakes and this helps you become a better goalkeeper. My advice to Gigio is to stay calm since he is a great young goalkeeper…“.

The Brazilian keeper joined AC Milan in 2000 and played with the Red and Blacks for 10 seasons. For many years during his time at San Siro he was considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and is remembered for the epic the penalty shootout in Champions versus Juventus.
