Gattuso: “My biggest regret as AC Milan coach”

The Rossoneri are about to play the last Serie A game for this season and in today’s press conference coach Rino Gattuso reveled his biggest regret as AC Milan coach.

Tomorrow AC Milan play the last game of the season at San Siro against Fiorentina. Three points are a necessity to finish the league in 6th place and qualify directly for the group stage of Europa League. In today’s press conference the coach highlighted the importance of tomorrow’s game and asked his player to stay vigilant throughout the entire 90 minutes.

Rino then revealed what’s his biggest regret as AC Milan coach. “I am very proud to coach this squad. San Siro and Milanello are my home. It’s the team I dreamed since I was a small child. My biggest disappointment as Rossoneri coach has been seeing 30-35 thousand fans at Olimpico Stadium (Coppa Italia final) and not being able to repay that affection“.

Gattuso then continued: “It was a night of tremendous disappointment for me but we have to look forward. I must reflect more on that but now it’s not the time. I must be tough on the lads and keep them focused on next match but that final (against Juventus) still burns a lot”.
