All the reactions after Milan vs Atalanta

AC Milan disappoint again losing 0-2 at home against a much more concrete Atalanta. The reactions of the Rossoneri environment after the game.

Massimiliano Mirabelli was interviewed by Sky Sport 24 after the match with Atalanta.

On January and the market: “Today we do not think about January for the transfer market, we would like to arrive in January with some victories. We have already apologized to the fans last Sunday, we do it again. We knew that this project was long and tortuous, maybe we expected some difficulties less. It is to be said that we do not have the time to be demoralized and offer excuses. There is the Italian Cup derby and we must face it with maximum dignity“.

On the team: “You have all analyzed these players, there are a lot of national team players and even youngsters. I’m sorry because we could have done better from the beginning. There are difficulties and we are sorry. For the lost games and for the fans who support us in an important way. We have to win back those people and make believe again those who think that this is not a Milan team”.

On Gattuso: “Rino is a great man, a great technician, we knew we had to face big problems, we saw him tired, but he always works from the morning till the training. He lives Milan in an important way. He cares a lot about the team, he has really important coaching ideas. It’s hard to say it right now, but we have to be men, when things go well it’s all good, it’s easy to work and do things. In these very difficult times we have to stay together to bring the boat to the harbor. We deserve all the possible and imaginable critiques. We need a very strong armor to repulse them”.

On the position: “It is right for me to be protective, I am responsible, of the purchases, of renewals, of reconfirmed players. The biggest responsibility is mine, criticism must be addressed to me. I am proud of all these players who are exemplary professionals, they train in an important way but for a variety of reasons we can not be a team, we all have a clear understanding of our theme and problems. I am willingly in the spotlight, the important thing is to leave the tam alone”.
